Synk™ Bin Controls Named 2026 AE50 Award Winner

We’re proud to share that Synk™ Bin Controls has been named a 2026 AE50 Award winner, an honor presented by ASABE and its flagship publication, Resource magazine.

The AE50 Awards recognize the 50 most innovative new products introduced each year in agricultural, food, and biological systems. For Synk, this recognition is both humbling and deeply meaningful, because AE50 is rooted in practical innovation. These awards highlight technologies that solve real problems, perform in real-world conditions, and move the industry forward.

Why the AE50 Award Matters

The AE50 program evaluates products that were first commercially available in the prior year and selects those that demonstrate genuine advancement in engineering, usability, and impact. Being selected places Synk™ Bin Controls among a group of solutions that are shaping the future of agriculture through thoughtful, proven design.

In short: this award isn’t about flashy features…it’s about useful innovation.

Built for Real Grain-Management Challenges

Synk™ Bin Controls was designed to help farmers protect grain quality with greater confidence and less guesswork. The system combines advanced sensors and automation software to continuously monitor stored grain and intelligently operate aeration fans as conditions change.

Sensors measure temperature and moisture inside the grain mass, along with CO₂, static pressure, humidity, and temperature at the top and bottom of the bin sidewall. Together, this data supports smarter drying and cooling decisions, helping maintain grain condition while reducing stress and manual oversight.

As Aaron Anderson, Commercialization Manager for Synk™, shared:

“Being named an AE50 winner is meaningful because it validates practical innovation; technology that’s engineered to solve real problems in the field. We built Synk™ Bin Controls to make grain management simpler and more efficient for farmers, while creating a modular foundation that can grow with their operation.”

Recognition at AETC 2026

AE50 award recipients were formally recognized during the ASABE Agricultural Equipment Technology Conference (AETC), held February 8–11, 2026, in Louisville, Kentucky. Award-winning products will also be featured online and in the January/February issue of Resource magazine.

Looking Ahead

This recognition reinforces what drives our work every day: building intelligent, modular grain-management technology that gives farmers control today while supporting future connectivity and automation. We’re grateful to the growers, dealers, and partners who continue to challenge us, test our ideas, and help shape what comes next.

Thank you to ASABE and Resource magazine for this honor, and to the farmers who inspire us to keep building smarter, simpler, and safer solutions for grain operations!
